In recognition of the profound influence exerted by Oscar Cahén on the field of Art in Industry and Commerce during the decade in which he worked in Canada, The Art Directors Club of Toronto announces the creation of The Oscar Cahén Memorial Award.

The award will be held in trust by a committee (appointed for ten years) and will be presented only to recipients who have for a consequential length of time maintained a continuous high level of personal and genuine creativity.

Due to the special nature of this award, it is unlikely that it will be awarded annually.
