"Oscar Cahén, Life & Work" by Jaleen Grove was released in September 2015 published by Art Canada Institute (www.aci-iac.ca).

Cahén (1916-1956) fled Nazi Germany in 1939 and settled in Canada. One of the founders of Painters Eleven, Cahén was in the vanguard of the Canadian abstract art movement while working as a successful commercial illustrator.

Jaleen Grove was Scholar in Residence at The Cahén Archives, from 2013 to 2016.
